Healthy HAIR, SKIN, NAILS & TEETH

Sea Moss has several vitamins and minerals that help to promote the growth of healthy DNA cells and a large amount of genetic material. According to the National Institute of Health; Sea Moss includes Folate, Phosphorus, Calcium, Protein, Vitamin A, Vitamin C, Vitamin E and Iron all help in growing healthy hair, skin, nails and teeth.

Folate, the B-Vitamin is used in the body to make DNA and other genetic material, your body needs it for your cells to divide and grow. Folate also plays an important role in oral health. Our bodies need B9 to make red blood cells, among other things. Not having enough red blood cells (also known as anemia), makes it hard for the cells throughout our bodies to get the oxygen they need to thrive — including our gums and tongue. And folate itself has been found to play an important role in oral health, to the point that consuming enough folate can help prevent periodontal disease. It's been found that increasing folic acid intake is associated with lower rates of gingivitis and gum inflammation.

Phosphorus is responsible for promoting the growth, maintenance, and repair of all tissues and cells. And it filters out the toxins to make room for new and healthy cells in every part of the body, including your skin, hair, and nails. Calcium, as is fairly well-known, is necessary for strong teeth and gums, but it is also essential for healthy hair and nails and the repair of all damaged tissue. Additionally, calcium plays a major role in beautiful skin, helping to clear blemishes and rejuvenate it when it becomes dull and tired-looking.

Sea Moss is also packed with other minerals designed to help grow new cells for Skin, Hair, Nails and Teeth. With all these nutrients combined in one source it truly serves as a super food to great looking skin, lustrous hair, strong nails and healthy oral care.

HEALTHY PREGNANCY

Sea Moss is a fertility powerhouse that can speed up the process of getting pregnant if you're having trouble;  particularly with nutrients such as folate, iodine, B vitamins, calcium, and zinc.

Folate is a form of vitamin B9 that the body needs to maintain red and white blood cells (hematogenesis), convert carbohydrates into energy (metabolism), synthesize and maintain the genetic building blocks of the body (DNA and RNA). A daily intake of folate is also needed to maintain a healthy pregnancy, ensure normal fetal development, and prevent certain serious birth defects. Folate is essential to good health. If you don't get enough from your diet or folic acid supplements, you may develop a folate deficiency. Although this is rare in the United States, there are certain groups that are vulnerable, including pregnant women, infants, and younger children (whose intake may fall short due to their rapid growth) Folate deficiency can also be caused by certain medications (such as metformin, birth control pills, and methotrexate) and in people with severe bleeding, liver disease, malabsorption disorders (like celiac disease), and alcoholism. The intake of folate into the system will help remove the deficiency caused by these medications, severe bleeding and various other conditions.

The CDC recommends all women of reproductive age consume 400 mcg of folic acid each day; along with consuming food with folate from a varied diet, to help prevent some major birth defects of the baby’s brain known as neural tube defects. These defects include Anencephaly a serious birth defect where parts of a baby’s brain and skull do not form correctly. Babies born with anencephaly cannot survive. Spina bifida is a serious birth defect where a baby’s spine does not develop correctly and can result in some severe physical disabilities.

ANTI-INFLAMMATORY

Sea moss contains high levels of potassium which helps to reduce blood pressure in the body; studies have linked high blood pressure to Inflammation. Vitamins A, B, C, E & K all possess anti-inflammatory properties which will help fight against disorders and diseases caused by inflammation such as; arthritis, asthma, cancer, diabetes, atherosclerosis, blindness and various other complications in the body. Vitamin A can keep the immune system from overreacting and causing inflammation; people with low levels of Vitamin B6 will typically have high levels of C-reactive protein, this compound causes inflammation in auto immune diseases such as rheumatoid arthritis. Vitamin C works similar to Vitamin B in helping to lower C-reactive protein and get rid of other inflammation causing radicals. Vitamin E is an antioxidant vitamin that has anti-inflammatory properties and Vitamin K helps to reduce inflammatory markers and help with blood clotting.

Specifically, it contains an amino acid called taurine, which helps the body burn fat and build muscle. Taurine has the ability to make the body burn fat instead of carbs during cardio. Sea Moss contains the vital thyroid hormone precursors that are important for healthy thyroid function and your body's metabolism. So if your thyroid is not functioning properly they can be beneficial and aid in weight loss.

FIGHT ANEMIA & INCREASE ENERGY

Sea moss is rich in iron, which many plant-based eaters lack because it's commonly found in animal foods like meat, poultry, and seafood. Sea moss contains about 9 milligrams of iron per 100 grams, meaning it has 9 times more iron than chicken. When you're feeling fatigued or low energy, it may be because your iron levels are low, iron helps your body create red blood cells to move oxygen from your lungs to your cells. If you have ever been diagnosed with mild anemia, sea moss could work to help your body get the iron you need.

Sea Moss has favorable values of robust antioxidant suites, macro  and micro-nutritional elements, fibre content, and fatty acid profiles. This makes seaweeds viable and important contenders for involuntary intervention strategies related to the body digesting manufactured and processed foods. These components are discussed in recent study in relation to their functionality with respect to human health, and numerous edible macro-algae, such as Sea Moss
